The location is excellent, with a beautiful view from the window and absolute silence. The neighbors and staff are courteous and friendly. The kitchen is superb, fully equipped for tired travelers, and even includes a gift of half a bottle of Grappa! The room is good, very clean, and the bathroom is tidy. We haven’t watched TV in a long time – there’s Wi‑Fi instead. My complaints are directed at Booking, not the hotel: you need an extra code for the key and room number, and that information should be provided before payment. Because I didn’t have those details, I received a booking confirmation, got in the car, and left. I didn’t check back with Booking and was very disappointed that there was no reception. The internet in the area doesn’t work with my provider. I had to call both Booking and the hotel, which was exhausting. In the end, Booking cancelled the booking without my request – that’s ridiculous! The neighbors helped me find the key code, and I was able to check in. But now the story about re‑paying the booking keeps dragging on.
