I enjoyed a lovely stay in a beautiful apartment; the guests were friendly and respectful. If only the host had let us drop off or pick up luggage before or after, it would have been perfect, but I understand that’s tricky for an apartment rather than a hotel.
The apartment’s location was excellent—easy to find and only a three‑minute walk from the metro. We checked in ourselves; the keys were in a locker, the room was clean, and the kitchen had all the utensils, a iron with a board, and a washer‑dryer combo. It was ideal for a two‑day stay and staying in Lisbon’s lower areas made returning after long walks especially pleasant. The only issue was that the toilet’s flush didn’t work on the first day, but the problem was fixed afterward.
The bed was good for sleeping and the blanket was warm enough; the bathroom kit was decent 👍. Other guests behaved badly and left the common areas in a mess. The room and the apartment need renovation, and a slightly more pleasant design would help.
The quality‑price ratio and the location were solid. The downside was the lack of a living room and a cramped kitchen.
The other guests in the building were very thoughtless and noisy, so we didn’t get any sleep at all. In the morning there was a fight over the bathroom.
