The stay was excellent, the staff were super friendly, the room was spectacular, and breakfast was very good. I loved it and recommend this hotel.

“O Hotel do chocolate”

The hotel room in the old chocolate factory is fantastic. Every detail revolves around chocolate, and guests get free access to the museum, which is a brilliant idea. The breakfast is very complete, and the shift system works well. Everything is very calm, and the staff are super attentive. I recommend staying at this hotel; it’s an experience worth repeating. Everything is perfect.

“A fun place to stay!”

When I booked, I was thrilled to see a Willy Wonka room listed, so I messaged the hotel and they set that room for me. The room was amazing—an enormous mural of the film on one wall, shower and toilet glass doors featuring Willy Wonka and a quote, and the headboard was a Golden Ticket. Chocolate was already waiting in the room with my name on it. Breakfast was massive and worth the price, with plenty of bakery items, pancakes, and the option to order eggs. We were trekking the Camino, so the location was handy and close to restaurants. Since we arrived after the museum had closed, the staff kindly gave me a voucher for a later visit, which I used a few weeks later. The staff were incredibly friendly. Everything was perfect!

The style of the rooms is exceptional, with every detail thoughtfully considered. The chocolate décor (molded chocolate on the wall), chocolate scent, chocolate soap, and shampoo are all part of the experience. Small touches for guests include a pod coffee machine, tea, glass bottled water, a chocolate bar, and even a complimentary chocolate drink. The museum is magnificent, and it felt like a return to childhood.
