The historic charm of the inn and the welcoming staff made the check‑in smooth, and the layout felt like a classic English country inn, well maintained. We were given a disabled access room that was spacious, yet it felt dated and had emergency lighting that stayed on all night, disrupting our sleep; next time we’d ask for a different room.
