“Tolles Strandhotel für Familien”
The beachfront location was excellent. The value for money was top during the off‑season. The rooms were spacious, modern, and well arranged for families. Most of the staff were very friendly. Dinner was delicious. We also appreciated the playground and the baby area. The pools were child‑safe and large enough; at the end of September and beginning of October they were unfortunately quite cold, but the sea stayed warm. Unfortunately the hotel can only be reached by shuttle bus; all luggage must be unloaded at the parking lot, then taken by shuttle to the hotel, and from there pushed in a stroller to the houses. The staff are very helpful, but you can’t just hop in a car and leave. Our housekeeping team was unfriendly. They seemed annoyed when we asked in the morning to tidy the room so we could get the kids ready for the beach. We’ve never experienced that before. They expected us to leave the room as soon as they rang. With a baby and a toddler it was difficult; they were delayed, rolled their eyes or said they had too much work and would not clean the room. It’s understandable they’re under time pressure, but that’s never been an issue in any hotel, and communication would have helped… We also had a room on the first floor; we had to carry the stroller up and down for every outing because there was no elevator. Switching to a ground‑floor room wasn’t possible, even though many apartments were free.
