I loved being in the middle of the village, the staff were friendly and I liked the old‑school vibe of the hotel.

Staff were attentive and helpful, but the second bed in our twin/family room was tiny.

I drove my son to Newcastle Uni to get him settled; it was a 6‑hour drive and I was hoping for a relaxing place to stay overnight – the Angel of Corbridge delivered exactly that. The room was spotless, super comfy, and breakfast was splendid. Michael was friendly and helpful; on the day of the Great North Run he guided me around Newcastle so I could get back to my son and then home. I’ve booked again because it was excellent. Everything was great.

The location is perfect for Corbridge and for exploring beyond. The room was medium‑sized, the bathroom basic but very clean with a decent shower. Breakfast was free and the cooked portion was excellent. There’s good private parking too.
