The staff were welcoming and friendly, and my room was wonderfully clean. I felt safe both in the room and on the grounds. I appreciated the value and the ability to use my Wyndham point to offset the cost of the room. Everything was fine; it’s not a fancy place, but it’s very well kept, clean, and safe. I’d definitely stay here again.

The Super 8 was pretty clean for its brand, but the male manager was snippy, housekeeping entered our room while we were gone even though we had the “do not disturb” sign, and the pool was closed despite promises it would be open multiple times over the phone.

The pool was unavailable, the air outside the door smelled like urine, the town offered almost nothing for food or drinks and the grocery store was depressing and poorly stocked, the microwave never heated water, the floor looked clean but was filthy, and there was absolutely no reason to stay in Yreka unless you’re stuck with car trouble.
