The Holiday Inn Puebla La Noria, an IHG hotel, is situated 5 minutes from Angelópolis Shopping Center and 10 minutes from Puebla's Historic Center. Modern rooms offer air conditioning, cable TV, work desks, and coffee makers. Amenities include a restaurant serving breakfast, a bar, and lounge. Cholula Pyramid is 14 km away, and Africam Safari Park is a 30-minute drive.

The place was very cozy and welcoming, with clean beds, pillows, and sheets. We stayed on a floor that offered a nice view over Puebla, looking toward the city center; we had asked earlier for a view of the other side of town toward Popocatépetl, which wasn’t possible, but the room was still one of the highest in the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, with a wide variety of tasty dishes, coffee, chocolate, and vegan options like green chilaquiles (you had to remove the crema and cheese, but it was doable). There were steamed veggies, salads, beans, fruit, and cereals, plus an Oxxo nearby for drinks. The lobby was spacious, rooms had Wi‑Fi, and the staff were very friendly, similar to the Cascarudo Hotel of Don Cangrejo. They let us into the pool even though it wasn’t full yet because they were cleaning it (we were there Saturday to Sunday, so I assume it’s fine on other days). Everything else was fine, with well‑equipped bathrooms, plenty of towels, and a bathtub in our room. The only downside was that only one of the two elevators worked.

The location, view, and beds were great. The bathroom left something to be desired: the sink tap was rusty, hard to open, and dripped; the shower produced very little water and stuck to the wall, so I couldn’t bathe properly.
