Good Feeling Hostel & Guest House

The kitchen had plenty of storage, was well equipped, and the living room was fine. The room was spacious. The hostel had a plumbing‑system smell, poor air quality, and high humidity. The closets were poorly arranged. The sofas need updating. Showers lacked hooks for hanging clothes while showering.

The welcome was friendly. The kitchen was functional and large. The indoor space was adequate, and the outdoor area was spacious with a pool.

“Nice and cozy place with a warmth atmosphere.”

A staff member greeted me at reception. There were plenty of spaces, the pool and terrace and all the common areas were very pleasant and cozy. Waste sorting was in place, there was enough space for everyone, even cats.

I liked the shared dinner that was offered every evening.

“Wir würden nicht noch einmal dort übernachten.”

The outdoor area was nice, but we were asked beforehand to pay the first night by bank transfer and send proof, with a threat to cancel the reservation if we didn’t. That request was later withdrawn when I asked to cancel the booking at will. Only cash or transfer is accepted, which isn’t mentioned in the policies – the dining room and most of the kitchen are reserved in the evenings for guests who pay for the shared meal. We ate outside (in October it’s already very cold in the evenings) – the first night was uncomfortable because the heating was broken. We were told this issue was known and received a new heater and blankets for the next night. Why not give that from the start? The shared washroom and toilet were cleaned only once in the morning. The washroom was cramped, with only a tiny sink and very little storage space.
