The bed and bedding had an unpleasant smell. Location was not great.

The location wasn’t bad. We had never experienced such a bland and unenthusiastic breakfast; the shower wasn’t well cleaned and the room’s furnishings were outdated and uncomfortable.

The manager was very friendly, and the setting was very quiet (guest house). Even though I left on a day off, a hassle‑free solution was found to store my luggage. I chose the hotel for its short walk to the train station, but I was placed in a farther guest house; it was doable for me, but anyone who isn’t very good on foot might find it problematic.

Clean, friendly, good breakfast, central location. Sunday evenings the kitchen was closed, but there’s a nice Italian restaurant just around the corner.
