The property was charming and very British, excellent but expensive breakfast, fantastic beautiful location in a scenic area, within walking distance to Richmond’s shops, cafés and restaurants, but the price of the breakfast was very high.

“Not worth the money”

The location on a hill outside the city was a plus, but the Deluxe Room was not like the pictures at all; it was a very small cheap standard room with a view mostly of a roof instead of the promoted river view, and I told reception the next day but they couldn’t care less; breakfast was also very small in portion and we were still hungry after our order, making the 335€ per night not worth it.

“Gorgeous spot”

Parking, nice sized room & old school glamour. Close to Thames River & 10 min walk from Richmond town. Cost of breakfast

The venue’s spot was great relative to Richmond Park and the town itself, the decor and grandeur of the hotel were nice, and the staff were very friendly. Parking was plentiful, though it was busy. The rooms were very small and didn’t leave much space for a travel cot; the shower was wall‑mounted, breakfast was an expensive add‑on, and there was no gym, pool, or spa. The premium price seemed justified only by the view overlooking the Thames.
