The location worked for my purpose, excellent. The building’s acoustics are terrible; rooms facing the interior (forming a cube) pick up a lot of noise. There’s constant chatter from people downstairs late into the night, making it hard to sleep, plus the dining area’s clatter of plates and voices that starts around 5:30 a.m.

ROACHES. They have a pest problem. I was switched rooms because I found them on the bed and in the bathroom, and the second room also had them in the bathroom. By the third change I asked for anti‑roach spray throughout, and I had to sleep while the smell suffocated me, but that was better than finding another one on the bed. It wasn’t just one room; the whole place is infested. On top of that, no one told our group or anyone else that a different group had a separate breakfast reservation from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. No one outside that group could enter to eat; my group had to leave by 7:30 a.m., and I don’t think that’s well organized. Either offer a more varied breakfast for everyone or set up a separate area for groups paying extra. Denying other guests the time they need to eat is unacceptable. The hotel is very old, nothing like the photos, and the roach horror is just the worst.

The location is fine. The bathroom door feels like a closet and leaks. Reception staff are not very friendly and they don’t explain things properly; the elevator is very old.

Check‑in was hassle‑free and the staff were very friendly. We saw a small cockroach in the room.
