“Perfect for what we needed it for”
The room was spacious, clean, and the bed was comfy, and the breakfast included was a nice touch, but the window wouldn’t stay open, so the room got hot and stuffy.

The manor next door is great for weddings, but the exterior has England flags, the decor feels dated, it seems overpriced for what it offers, and the staff were unfriendly.

The room was clean and spacious, but the lorries could be heard rumbling past at night.

The room was clean and the breakfast was nice, but it was extremely hot and we had to keep the windows open. It’s right on the A41, so every large lorry/truck is felt. I’d really need a good ceiling fan. It was during the July 2026 heat‑wave, so staying cool was tough and unpleasant. This was in the main pub building. My brother stayed in their extra ‘Annexe Building’, which was quite cool. The bathroom shower was broken and the water pressure was poor. The room itself was very clean but the bed was uncomfortable and we kept rolling over. I won’t stay in the main pub again until the room is fixed; the annexe is okay.

Clean, comfortable, quiet (rear facing room) and the breakfast was tasty.
