The location was perfect and the breakfast was very good.

The building had a lovely character, with good attention to detail and thoughtful touches that made the place feel welcoming. The garden area was superb, but the wet weather prevented us from using it. Parking was easy to find. The staff and service were exceptional and very good. There was nothing bad to say about the property; unfortunately the weather was very wet, but the bar offered a nice refuge when we needed it.

Everything was spot on. The inn was comfy, full of character, historically interesting, and the staff were helpful and warm. The food was consistently good.

The spot was great and the breakfast was delicious, homemade and plentiful. The rooms, especially the bathrooms, feel a bit dated; they should replace the mattresses and modernise the baths by adding showers or a tub enclosure because it’s hard to shower without getting everything wet.
