Location. Nice restaurant beside it with great food. Needs updating. Can be cleaner

Good location in Castlegar. Price. I did not really like much more then that for this inn. We have stayed at many Canada Best Value and this just didn't hit the mark. Generally, they are very clean but this room had hand prints on the wall, wasn't sure if the sheets were the same as the people before as they were very wrinkled. I wouldn't even take a shower, the bathroom door was odd and the outlet looked like it was burnt, and I certainly wouldn't walk in bare feet. Also, way to many extension cords, looks like an overload waiting to happen. I would recommend management go to Lillooet, Mile 0 and check the Canada's Best for what they could be!! The set they standard for me!

The hotel and room were adequate. A movie theater, stores, and restaurants were very close, and downtown was a short drive away. The staff were pleasant and easy to deal with.
