Usategieta hotel sits amidst 90,000m² of lawns, nestled between Jaizkibel mountain and Aia National Park. Large, naturally lit rooms feature modern rustic furnishings. The homely restaurant serves seasonal produce, specialising in barbecued meat and fish. Surrounded by nature, the hotel offers trekking, sailing, fishing, horse-riding, and golf opportunities, near Hondarribia, San Sebastián, and Biarritz.

We didn’t expect this and were pleasantly surprised; the location is convenient for car travelers with plenty of parking, clean air, and great views. The atmosphere feels cozy and almost family‑like from the moment you’re greeted at reception. The rooms are excellent—clean and well‑maintained; we stayed in an attic room on the top floor, spacious with a comfy bed and a large bathroom. The restaurant serves exceptionally delicious food that tastes like home cooking; it’s not cheap but worth it. Next time we’ll definitely book an overnight stay.

The location was gorgeous! But we couldn’t find any bottled water in the room on arrival and had to pay a minimum of €2.50 at the bar.
