I had a great time here, especially with the bike storage that was handy. The pool and sauna were nice, and the evening buffet was decent—though I could have found better value elsewhere, the convenience after cycling mattered. The sheds had bike tools and pumps.

The bathroom was pretty nice and the location was super close to the lake. However, the price doesn’t match the service at all. From the moment I arrived, the greeting was very unfriendly and incompetent. The rooms were of very poor standard; in one room, sewage leaked from the toilet with a terrible smell. Breakfast was a catastrophe, almost inedible. The staff were extremely rude. For €80 a night it might be acceptable, but for the prices charged it’s insane!

The surroundings were beautiful, the food tasty, the wellness facilities good, and the bed comfortable. It’s close to Lake Balaton.

It was our first time at Panorama, and because of the tall trees there’s essentially no lake view. That’s fine, you can see down to the beach, the bike path, and the tracks, surrounded by greenery. The location is perfect—just a short walk to the lake, beach, and promenade. We enjoy watching trains, so the station at the promenade was very interesting for us and not noisy or disturbing. The buffet breakfast and dinner (we had half‑board) were varied, offering something for every guest. The staff were extremely friendly, always quick to clear tables, serve drinks, check the food selection, and refill if needed. Nothing to complain about. On the downside, there were a lot of spiders and cobwebs everywhere—on the façade, in the shrubs, and on the glass fronts. A big dust‑broom sweep would be a good idea.
