“Katastrophal.!”

I found myself standing in front of a locked door, tried in vain every day to reach someone, kept hearing the automated voicemail and then the line was cut. My request and emails never got a reply. On the arrival day I was again faced with a locked door because the key wasn’t left. I had to book another hotel at triple the price and still haven’t received a refund. I would not recommend this place and will never return.

The staff were very helpful and friendly, even though the front desk was understaffed with only one person on duty. We were very satisfied with the service.

The price listed on the booking site was different from what we saw in person; you cannot check in at the hotel, and no one answers the phone or responds to reservation inquiries in person.

The spot was convenient for a stop‑over, but we had booked a room and, because of heavy traffic, couldn’t arrive before 20:00; all attempts to contact the hotel by email or phone failed, and despite the 24/7 reception claim we got no answer. We tried to check in with the self‑service kiosk after 21:00, but none of our booking or confirmation numbers were accepted, forcing us to purchase a new room that cost more than 50 % extra. Other guests faced the same issue, and with the morning reception unmanned and staff clueless, I still have no idea how to get my money back.

The hotel sits directly on the motorway, making it the perfect spot for our holiday trip to Croatia.
