The room was spacious, the bathroom was spacious too, and the location was good. In the bar, the beer was also good. Because we arrived late, they added 40 EUR. They wrote that this would happen, but usually people don’t arrive late by mistake. A proper hotel would provide a 24‑hour check‑in option. That’s why I’m sharing a little observation about the 40 EUR surcharge: the (probably owner, and probably Chinese) staff member came out of the kitchen with a rubber glove on his hand, disappeared into the bathroom, then appeared again with a rubber glove on his hand and went back into the kitchen. I hope he was just doing a visual toilet inspection.

The location by Lake Varese was beautiful, the room was spacious, and breakfast was good, though the room could use a little updating.

“Schöner Ort am Vareser See. Die Wanderung auf den „Heiligen Berg“ ist empfehlenswertes Ausflugsziel.”

Die Lage mit unter 100 Meter zum Seeufer ist Top. Vom Balkon aus schaut man direkt auf das Seeufer und kann den Sonnenuntergang über dem Wasser bewundern. Das Hotel selbst ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen und müsste mal einen Refresh bekommen. Die gute Lage und das günstige Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis entschädigen die Mängel auf jeden Fall. Ein Refresh würde wahrscheinlich auch eine Preisanhebung bedeuten. Wegen der Lage würden wir auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Für alle Fans des Motorrads und im speziellen der Marke“ MV Agusta“ direkt neben dem Hotel ist die Firmenzentrale. Viele Details und Kleinigkeiten sind verbesserungswürdig
