I loved the breakfast, especially the wide selection of homemade baked goods, and the staff were wonderful. The coffee was a great bonus. The room could use some upgrades, but overall it was clean and comfortable.

The Dockside view is incredibly peaceful. I’ve been visiting for over 20 years and will keep coming as long as I can. Prices are rising, but I understand that staff wages and maintenance costs are involved, so I’m okay with that.

The location was perfect with calm panoramic views, and the balcony truly offered the sea view that was promised. Breakfast was lavish, with options from bacon to bagels, fruit to muffins, and the coffee was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful. The king‑size bed was comfortable, and the inn provided plenty of outlets for charging devices like smartwatches and hearing aids. The room’s refrigerator was a nice touch. The onsite restaurant served outstanding food, the best I’d had in a long time. The downside was that the bathroom outlets only worked when the light was on, so I couldn’t charge at night; the TV was small, and the Wi‑Fi was unreliable. A coffee maker in the room would have been a welcome addition, and I was disappointed that the Dockside Restaurant was closed on Wednesdays.

The spot is gorgeous, though it does run a touch higher than I'd expect, but not absurdly so.

The place sits in a lovely harbor setting, tucked away from crowds for a calm vibe, and the lawns and surroundings are kept neat and inviting, yet the price is a bit steep, matching the local market.
