“Management didn’t respond well when linen issue was reported.”

The place is nicely situated and close to the Highlands, but the bed linens were off—there was no sheet under the duvet, so I’m not sure how clean it actually was.

“Ok but would rent house next time better value.”

The hotel is very pretty, scenic, and steeped in history, giving it a nostalgic vibe, yet the price is high and we had to use a dehumidifier that needed emptying 3‑4 times a day; when I asked to bring my service dog, they insisted I pay $125 even though she was a service animal.

The staff were friendly and helpful, but the seating inside and out was uncomfortable, and the breakfast pastries were only fair in quality and not enough variety.

“Nice getaway for a couple of days.”

The mountain setting is beautiful, but there was a bit of concern about housekeeping staff not fully grasping the procedures, though it seemed to be resolved eventually.

“Wonderful! Plan to stay there in the future.”

The room location (overlooking the woods); the balcony space and set up with chairs, bench and table; comfortable size room (very welcoming); the bathroom area was much better than expected. Courtesy waters was a nice addition. The mini fridge was whimsical! Courtesy coffee in the reception area. Views were espectacular. Liked all
