Free Wi‑Fi, private parking, on‑site a‑la‑carte restaurant, and tour‑info support activities such as fishing, biking, and nearby skiing (250 m).

Gold Guesthouse is close to the entrance of Ceahlau National Park, in a peaceful area where the birds’ chirping and flowing water that separates it from Cabana Gold create a vibe of note10. The rooms are intimate, surrounded by a pleasant scent. The staff are friendly and understanding, and at Cabana it feels like a story with a fireplace…music…ps. The omelette, pancakes and coffee are delightful.

The room was quite cold. When I arrived I thought it would be ventilated and would settle, but it remained quite chilly.

Nothing! Despite the reservation stating a double room with private bathroom, balcony and minibar, I received a “basic” room without balcony, without minibar, with old and damaged furniture, yet the price… as if it were a room with the promised amenities. The reception staff were absent, and when someone appeared you’d be surprised to see that they came from the kitchen (with cooking gloves on). There’s a persistent food smell everywhere—hallways, rooms, all day you smell burnt oil from fries, schnitzel, etc. Zero hospitality! For what the prices offer, they are unjustifiably high.
