Lyrath Estate

“Amazing countryside stay that offered all the amenities.”

The property offered many options for relaxing, socializing, and the rooms were so comfortable. We loved taking advantage of the falconry tour and it was a once in a lifetime experience. They assisted in setting up an affordable reliable cab to Kilkenny town center as well as to our bus stop on the day we were leaving. Unforgettable and would stay there again whenever we can. Nothing! Everything was excellent

“I will be back want to have a spa treatment next time”

The grounds were lovely and the walks were enjoyable, and overall everything was great.

The hotel was gorgeous and the staff were friendly and helpful, but I would have preferred a proper coffee pod machine in the room instead of just a kettle and instant coffee; some rooms do have one.

“Pleasant and enjoyable”

Breakfast was very good, dinner was good, the room was good with a great view, and the hotel’s location was convenient with spacious rooms and beautiful gardens; the staff, especially at reception, were friendly and helpful. However, the lighting in the room was inadequate, particularly in the coffee/tea area— a stand‑up light would help. The bathroom basin area was very small, the floor/tiles were slippery both in and out of the shower, and a safety rail or bar would be appropriate. The toilet was very low, which is fine for children but makes it hard for elderly guests to get up; a properly placed railing or bar would solve this.
