The location is the best the hotel can offer; from there you can reach the city center or the opposite direction on foot very quickly. Still, it was clean, the beds comfortable and the staff consistently friendly. Even though the standard differs from German stars and you know that, I still didn’t like that the rooms were very in need of renovation. In our room, for example, the floor had paint flaking off and did not look very inviting. When booking, we (two adults and a baby) were assigned a family room. That was far too large for us, so I assume we paid that price. I still found it somewhat expensive, even though the location made up for it.

The staff are extremely kind, close to the city center so everything is nearby. The cleaning was poorly done in some spots, a few stains but not terribly dirty.

The location, the room. Even without breakfast, it allows you to prepare a hot drink and eat snacks at a modest cost. Nothing else.

Walking to the hotel is a breeze and public transport is within easy reach; the staff were very attentive, but the place feels like a budget hotel that charges for a four‑star experience.
