The location was great, easy to get around. But there was no Wi‑Fi, even though it was promised, so we had to shell out almost €30‑50 for our own data. The lift stopped working for a few days, and since the room was on the 4th floor we had to haul our heavy luggage up by hand, which was exhausting.

The spot was convenient. However, it wasn’t senior‑friendly: there were steps in the room, steps to the bathroom, a fridge tucked into a corner on the floor, a safety deposit box on the floor level that didn’t face forward, and a bathtub that was too high for seniors.

The room was spotless and spacious. I was worried about overheating at night, but the AC was excellent and kept me cool; I woke up feeling chilly. A young staff member who was still new to Rome was very pleasant, though she couldn’t suggest restaurants. Luckily the area itself was fantastic for finding great food, and every meal was delicious. The room was on the fourth floor, which in Italy is the fifth floor, but there was an elevator for luggage. I could have taken the elevator up and down, but I chose the stairs. It would have been nice to have someone on hand for recommendations, but otherwise it was truly wonderful.
