The staff were super friendly, the location by car was very convenient, and the beer garden was cozy; the evening buffet was very tasty, though the carpeted floor in the room was a downside.

The large room size and very comfortable bed were highlights, and I especially liked the quiet setting in the middle of nature, perfect for relaxing and recovering. However, the hotel overall was okay, but the furniture and furnishings are clearly dated and could use a refresh, and the breakfast selection was rather limited; I would have liked more variety.

The location in the woods is lovely and quiet, the old building is beautiful, and the evening buffet was wonderful.
