The room was comfortable, the bed soft, and the large bath was a great way to unwind after a day of hiking in the hills. Free parking and a quiet setting added to the appeal. The sauna was nice. The hotel sits on a hill, and the spa was hard to reach because the doors were locked after closing time and the whirlpool wasn’t bubbling.

The room is gorgeous, and the hotel is a very lovely establishment. The spa is also excellent. The mini‑fridge is broken, the sink is clogged, and the spa isn’t open during its posted hours unless you call ahead—calling isn’t mentioned, so you lose an hour waiting for the spa to heat up.

Breakfast starts at 8:30 am, which feels a bit late if you want to head out; 8:00 am would be better.

The corner was very pleasant and well equipped, but there was a lack of staff and the wait times were too long whether at the bar or the reception.
