The location and cleanliness were good, but the stairs were steep and the dining hall was very small; they only offered coffee and a kettle, no milk or sugar.

The only thing that worked for me was the spot—everything else felt below the usual Zostel quality.

The place was in a good spot, the food tasted fine, and the vibe was nice, but the curtains were thin, the heater was missing in a cold place like Chitkul, and the room furniture was just a basic table. The lower bed setup also felt suffocating, a problem I see in most hostels.
