“Great place... Just a few tips to help others...”
I had a good stay for 3 nights in a “deluxe double room with balcony”. It’s a great location, close to Termini station and walking distance to all the tourist areas. There is also a really good supermarket (Conad) a two minute walk away. It’s great value overall. A few things that need to be clearer in the listing as they surprised me: 1 - the room itself is modern, recently refurbished, with a large shower room. 2 - the balcony is shared with 3 rooms and is accessed from the kitchen (not from the bedroom). It does have far reaching city views, and there is one table with 2 chairs out there. The balcony wraps around the building, around the windows from two of the bedrooms, including where the bath is (the glass is not obscured). Though there were not people using the balcony outside my bedroom when I stayed, it would put me off having a bath there. 3 - the room is accessed via a shared kitchen and dining area, with the balcony off it, this is where the kettle and fridge are (not in the room). There is also a microwave and coffee machine, which was a bonus. 4 - the door to the bedroom is like an internal household door; if there are people in the shared kitchen, or coming and going via the keypad entry system, you will be acutely aware of them! 5 - the signage for the place from the street is quite small and I went into the hotel next door first before I saw it. It’s a small sign on the left of a large wooden door. 6 - You have to go to the second floor for reception and then up to 6 for the room. The lift is ancient, but was fully functional during my stay. 7 - the Wi-Fi had no internet access during my stay. Nothing particularly negative, but the points above are worth considering
