The staff were very accommodating since we were heading to a wedding and needed early check‑in, and they allowed us to return to the property late at night.

Such a lovely spot, a great room with a huge bed and a fan for the summer heatwave (ask for lots of ice from the pub)! The pub downstairs is friendly and nice. Call ahead before booking – that’s my only tip. It’s a bit tricky to get a taxi in the area, so if you’re not driving, pre‑book one.

A charming little pub hotel with friendly staff. There’s a nice beer garden behind it and the Sunday roast is delicious. The room has the basics plus a small coffee pod machine, which is a nice touch. The pub closes around 11, but you can access your room anytime. There’s no breakfast, but there’s a place nearby.

Found this place to be a great find, with the best meals I've had on the trip so far and a cozy pub vibe, plus a brilliant room; I ended up staying longer than planned.
