The room size and the hotel’s luxury were great. The front‑desk ladies, even though they only spoke Chinese, did everything for me. I loved how they treated me. The hotel is more than 13 km from the city center, something I didn’t know, but Xi’an is a huge city. The metro is the solution, because driving to the center, for example, takes an hour, which is quite uncomfortable and annoying. Breakfast is good, but it doesn’t have the variety that lower‑tier hotels have.

The location was really good for what I needed on my trip, and the staff were very nice and helpful. The décor feels a little old‑fashioned, and the bathrooms could use a small renovation.
