The food menu was fantastic with plenty on the plate, the waiters were friendly and asked if everything was fine, the fireplace and views were excellent, the bar offered a wide selection, and the buffet breakfast was great; I didn't find anything I didn't like.

It’s an old‑fashioned hotel that could use a bit of updating, yet the staff are great, the food is good, and the scenery is beautiful, but there’s nowhere to sit except in the bar or restaurant area.
