This boutique hotel is stunning, with a gorgeous room, a comfortable bed, a perfect spot, and a beautiful courtyard view that remains quite sound‑proofed even with the windows closed. Nothing was lacking; it was absolutely perfect.

The hotel’s location is perfect. The large, stylish Albau room has no terrace, but the terrace above the rooftops of Florence is sensational for breakfast and aperitifs. The room is next to the kitchen, and despite a sound‑proof door, it is still noisy.

What can I say about this stunning Florence hotel? The rooms are beautifully appointed, very boutique and luxurious, and the family room offered plenty of space for us. The rooftop bar, La Loggia, was incredible; waking up and having breakfast on the roof was unforgettable, not to mention the sunsets. We loved the stay, and the lively Santo Spirito Piazza kept us entertained with markets and people. All the restaurants we tried there were excellent. The lift is a bit slow because it’s an old building and the same lift serves visitors to the rooftop bar; it was fine during the day but very busy in the evening.

The location is fantastic—you can walk to everything. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The double doors and windows block most noise, but Florence stays noisy until the middle of the night, so a little sound still leaks through.
