The Mercure Arras Centre Gare hotel is situated opposite Arras Train Station, within walking distance of the historic centre and its famous bell tower, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The hotel is 30 minutes from Lille and Lesquin Airport, 50 minutes from Paris' Gare du Nord via TGV, and near the WWI memorial cemetery and northern beaches.

The restaurant’s chef was outstanding—well done! The rooms were clean and the staff were generally kind. However, the restaurant staff were inexperienced, serving cognac, whisky, and Martini in bad glasses, and the portions were too small.

Convenient spot, easy entry, and the motorcycle could park right in the garage. The room lacked a kettle for tea or coffee, and the tiny toilet had hair on the floor, so it wasn’t very clean.

The facilities were excellent, the staff were ultra‑friendly, and breakfast was brilliant—there’s nothing to dislike about this place. The location was also superb. The only drawback was that the directions from the underground parking to the hotel could have been clearer.
