The bar and restaurant were top‑class, the staff were helpful and friendly, and the rooms were very cozy; Amy in the restaurant was especially attentive about food allergies. However, the rooms were accessed by steep external stairs, we asked for a twin but received a double with no explanation, there was no mobile signal, no staff after 8 pm, and breakfast was unavailable during our stay.

The location was fine, the room smelled musty, and it was noisy in the evenings until the pub closed, but the steep steps up to the accommodation were a drawback.

The room was very nice, the location lovely, the staff were friendly, and the price was good, especially with dinner for two included.

The spot was idyllic next to a river, right next to a shop/café that served fabulous breakfasts, and the staff at both the café and pub were welcoming and friendly. The shower had poor water pressure, though adjusting the temperature was easy, and the pub closed between 6 and 7 pm on Sunday evenings.
