The host was friendly, the room was clean, and it worked well as an overnight stopover; off‑street parking was available for the car, and I would recommend a trip up to the temple overlooking the town for fantastic sunset views.

The guesthouse is a short walk from the center, near a 7/11, the central market, and eating spots; the owner is super kind, helpful, nice, and polite, making guests feel very comfortable, and he even arranged a quick trip to the Kayan villages in less than 10 minutes; the room was spacious and comfortable. The only issue was that, not because of the owner, but because the town is in a natural setting, we found some ants in the room, so we slept in the sleeping bag with a sheet as a precaution.

It was awesome: I had an entire deluxe bungalow to myself, a very comfy and quiet room and bed, a lovely hot shower, and great TV service; the family running the place were very helpful and kind, and it’s in the perfect location in the center of town.

We could also park the car inside, thanks to the kind owner, and I highly recommend it.
