“Hospitality's Warm Embrace”
We decided to visit the Ventimiglia Market on Friday, so we stayed a day in this border town. The place had a great vibe, and Edith was a thoughtful host. Our room looked out over the ocean and also had a side view of Monaco, which felt dramatic and exciting, especially since Ventimiglia was hit by a massive rainstorm that was the first in months. The infinity pool was amazing, and once the weather cleared we had a fantastic swim in it – very relaxing and glamorous. We enjoyed Edith’s fabulous restaurant near the train station, the continental breakfast was enjoyable, and the coffee was good. For those driving, the location is wonderful with Mediterranean views. I caught the train, so I relied on drivers to get around at night or with luggage, but Edith arranged a lift home at night and otherwise finding a taxi was easy.
