From the moment we arrived, we were thrilled: the view from our balcony over the city toward the sea was unique, and the modern hotel’s location is a major plus. A lift takes you quickly to the old town and La Concha Bay, making it hard to find a better spot for sightseeing in San Sebastián. Our rental car stayed in the comfortable underground parking the whole time. We were very satisfied with our room, the service, and the ambience, and the breakfast met our expectations. We were less pleased with the dinner offerings in the half‑board package, which felt lower in quality than the regular menu items we could choose on a different day. Overall, we can absolutely recommend Hotel Catalonia Donosti.
