We had to leave early for a Galveston cruise, so a single night here was a good deal. We were assigned a first‑floor room and the staff were very helpful, especially the front desk team. I couldn't find anything I didn't like, and the price was fair for the stay.

The location was decent, but the property looked shabby compared to the pictures. The rooms smelled awful; we stayed three nights because we trusted the reviews. There were no coffee pots in the room, and the advertised breakfast was just a tiny yogurt cup, maybe a pastry or two, and coffee. The place was poorly managed and noisy—look elsewhere.
