“Comfy rooms and good breakfast, almost perfect!”

I’ve been here twice now, and the spot is still great—just off the highway, with a solid breakfast, a pool, and a hot tub. The staff were friendly and the rooms comfortable, but this time the room was a little dirty, with leftover food in the fridge from the previous guests and a contact lens on the couch; otherwise everything was fine. The room would have been perfect if it had a stovetop, since it already has a sink, fridge, and microwave in the sitting area.

The location is excellent, right on the edge of Golden town next to Highway 1 and a Sell gas station, with plenty of free parking and breakfast included. There are also subway and fast‑food spots nearby, making it a good stop for travelers on the go. The facilities feel a bit dated, the room’s cleanliness was average, and the room I stayed in had a noticeable odor.

Getting here from the highway is easy, the rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is included. It’s a bit pricey during the off season.

The staff were friendly, both the breakfast man and the receptionist. Parking was right in front of the door, small but fine, the pool was standard but okay, and the Canadian breakfast included disposable plates and cutlery. The carpet in the hallways and the room was very dirty, and it was ridiculously expensive for what you get.
