We had a wonderful time at Kin Kin Retreat, the property was beautiful and peaceful, Sean was a great host and very accommodating, the lodge was a comfortable place to hang out with lots of playthings, a roaring fire was always lit, and the kitchen had everything you could think of, including a generous supply of breakfast, a little gem that would be awesome for families too; thanks Sean and J.

“Thankyou for your hospitality!”

The location was perfect for my desire to disconnect and immerse myself in nature, the breakfast was continental style and a delight for horse lovers, but the wood smoke from the fireplace drifted into the shared space during our first night at Kin Kin Retreat.

The staff were amazing, the place was calm and quiet, but the cleanliness around the kitchen/common area was poor, the lighting in the room was insufficient, and the pillows were lacking.

The basic property is great with clean rooms and a basic breakfast, the in‑residence horse and peacocks add extra excitement for kids, the breakfast includes a selection of spreads and jams, cereals and fruits, the kitchen has everything you might need to cook up a storm if that is what you want to do, overall great value for the money, but a little shelf or something to put your bag or clothes would be nice.

“Nice little escape in nature”

The friendly animals keep you company, but the network coverage was zero for 24 hours, not ideal if you have any urgency.
