“Eccezionale e piacevole we”

Casa Tessieri is a great choice for a stay in Lucca and surroundings; walking to the city center takes no more than 10 minutes. Private parking is very handy. The room is very cozy, spotless, and tastefully furnished. Mr. Gualtiero is very kind, gladly offers interesting tips and suggestions for exploring Lucca or nearby villages. We’ll come back because there’s still so much to see. The bathroom in the room is efficient but a bit small, yet it has everything.

“Speechless - Never again this location”

The location is the only positive – downtown is a 10‑minute walk away. The room was cramped, dark, and very damp, which we only realized on the second day when we had to lie on a clammy bed and saw our clothes all wet. Breakfast didn’t live up to its name, consisting of two pieces of packaged pastry and two jars of jam for two people, already prepared in the room the day before our arrival. We never saw the staff again, no room service, and no new breakfast on the second day. We left a day early because we felt our health was at serious risk due to the high humidity. After over 40 years in hotels, this was one of our worst experiences.

“Amazing value for money stay in Lucca”

The spot is amazing, just outside the old city walls and a few minutes on foot to the historic centre; having parking and breakfast included at this price makes it even better value. The owner and the maid were both very courteous and helpful. The bathroom stayed damp all the time, so towels wouldn’t dry, but the staff replaced the towels when we asked for it.

Close to the Lucca centre and parking is available. The mattress on the small bed was a bit too firm.
