The breakfast was included in the price, but it only consisted of pre‑packed sweet buns (the ones you buy at Lidl) and no fresh bread.

The staff were very friendly and helped us with everything; the lady is really top. The breakfasts in the room had nothing in common with the Italian ones—just some packaged croissants, butter, coffee, water, and juice. The location is great near the airport, but otherwise the surrounding area is a complete mess.

I was given a room for three, but I was alone, and it was a bit larger than the single rooms. I didn’t use the bathroom, but it looked very comfortable; the shower is narrow, but a bit wider if you turn it around to avoid slamming it. The mattress is very comfortable, not stiff, just right, and the pillows are smart and comfortable for people with difficult necks. It’s 15 minutes from the airport, and the fixed taxi fare is €35.

“Perfect for early departures from Fiumicino”

We had to book accommodation on very short notice because our flight from Fiumicino was cancelled and rescheduled for the next day. B&B Purple Italy was perfect – checking in was very easy and we had a spacious, clean room with what looked like a brand‑new bathroom. Host Alessandro was helpful and arranged transport to the airport early the next morning, and he was up and about to make sure everything was fine. There is a communal kitchen with a variety of snacks for breakfast, plus refreshments in the room. Locally, and within easy walking distance, there are several very good restaurants along the canal that opens into the sea, and the port area is very interesting. Nothing was wrong – it was great.
