The food was good and the staff friendly. The linen didn’t fit the mattress, the linen needs replacing, the toilet roll holder was broken, and overall the lodge needs a redo.

The restaurant area and view were good. I don’t understand why a lodge serving international guests would offer only two single beds in a room, and those were the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. The air conditioner didn’t work, and when I reported it to the front office staff they were uninterested.

Breakfast was excellent, with a large variety and well‑prepared dishes.

The staff were friendly, the location just a few meters from Melelane gate at Kruger, and the dinner and breakfast were good.
