Every other weekend I drop in here, and it’s just the right spot—close to shops, restaurants, and a good bed. The staff is great, and the rooms are great too; I’ve never had a problem checking in, and they even let me in early.

The location was convenient for my meeting spot and Rt 95, and the nearby fast food, a crab place, Walmart, Lowe’s, and gas stations were handy. The bathroom had been remodeled, but the shower doors wouldn’t close, causing water to leak onto the floor and into the entry area, which was dangerous. The rug was grimy with cigarette burns and the bedspread was dirty. Breakfast eggs were hard‑boiled and rubbery, forks were always missing, coffee cups ran out, and nobody was there to refill.

“It was a place to lay my head and shower. Nothing else spectacular about it.”

The location was fine. Breakfast was hardly worth the name—dry toast, yogurt, a muffin, and juice or coffee. The whole property and rooms smelled like mildew. My tub had a ring in it, and most of the outside doors on the grounds were left unlocked. I couldn’t connect to Wi‑Fi on my gaming device without repeatedly filling out an application on the TV, and it still wouldn’t connect. The pool was full of dirty water, and I killed a roach in my room.

“Old dirty roach infested”

The location to the highway was good. I found roaches in my room on the first night. The hotel was old and outdated, and my machine had mold. An attendant moved me to another room.
