The location is close to the bus, a grocery store, and the Alpine Crossing Tongariro and Tongariro River trail. The spa is very intimate, with a pool, mini‑golf, etc. The cold water tap in the bathroom was leaking.

The place looked old, grubby and rundown, and it clearly needed repair and upgrade work all over.

The price was good and the location was also great, but it could use a bit of an update; otherwise it was okay.

It was great value, the mini house had everything you need, the location was perfect, and the staff were lovely; I would definitely stay here again if needed.

The location was great, the facilities for children on the property were excellent, and everything was very tidy—nothing really to complain about.
