Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Port Clinton, OH

Breakfast wasn’t available at the posted start time, and the staff were late. I couldn’t wait because I had to be on time for Sunday church, so I had to eat later that morning. The manager on duty was very helpful, giving me some edible goodies to take along.

“Probably would not stay here again. The location cannot overcome the shortcomings of the facility.”

The location was good, the lobby and exterior looked nice, and the lobby was clean. Breakfast was fine except for the eggs. Check‑in went smoothly. However, there were no eggs on the first day—only sausage and potatoes. On the next two days the eggs were bought at Walmart and looked green. The room was never cleaned during our three‑day stay, so we had to ask for towels each day. We would have preferred a shower instead of a tub.

“Will definetely return!”

The staff were absolutely amazing! The hotel feels a bit dated, but they went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable place to sleep and a good breakfast. The pool was great, and my son loved the indoor pool, which is one of the larger pools in the area. Our room had an odd smell, but the staff said it was just their cleaning products and told us to turn on the AC, which worked and everything was fine.

The staff were very friendly, the room was clean, and it was conveniently located near where we needed.

The rooms were decent, but the pool tiles at the shallow end were missing and the water looked cloudy, as if the filtration system had failed.
