The breakfast was great – everything a breakfast lover could want – they kept it replenished and the buffet stayed clean. We stayed in a family room because we were traveling with our grandson; it was a bit separate but very spacious, which we really liked.

Parking was listed but none were available – absolutely disappointing! I was really let down by this hotel. The description explicitly states that parking exists, so that’s why I counted on it. When I arrived at the hotel at night, I discovered no parking was available. I ended up standing in the middle of the night in Saarbrücken, a city I know nothing about, and had to find a parking garage on my own. Then I had to walk back to the hotel in the dark. That’s simply unacceptable! If a hotel says parking is available, I expect it to actually be so, or at least to be clearly warned that it may not be guaranteed. Especially when arriving at night, this situation is incredibly annoying and unnecessarily stressful. Had I known beforehand that I’d have to arrange my own parking, I would have planned my trip differently. For me, this is a clear deception on an important booking criterion. I expect a hotel’s description to be accurate and reliable. Unfortunately, this left a very bad first impression and an experience I definitely don’t want to repeat.

Great location, we got a huge room that isn’t standard. Very cozy, plenty of storage, with kettle, tea and coffee. Comfortable lobby. The bathroom lighting was relatively dim. Of course it’s loud when you open the windows, but that’s obvious for a city‑center location and didn’t bother us much.
