The service was superb, the rooms were spacious and beautiful, and breakfast was fantastic. It felt very “private,” giving plenty of peace and focus. A big plus was the free shuttle to the beach – super convenient! The kitchen garden looked gorgeous and the pool felt almost entirely ours. The only downside was that aside from the amazing breakfast and the Michelin‑rated restaurant, there were no other dining options on the property; we had to go to the beachside restaurants, which meant we had to travel home a bit later.

The property is beautiful, and Nerano feels like a hidden gem. The grounds were lovely and well kept. We stayed on a Tuesday and didn’t know the restaurant was closed that day, which was fine. We had booked elsewhere for dinner, but because it was a day off, nothing else in the hotel was open—no shuttle to Nerano, no bar, no other facilities. We weren’t told this before booking, and Tuesdays weren’t cheaper than other days, so we expected to use the hotel amenities. The lack of information was a surprise and disappointing; we would have chosen a different night if we had known.
