The charm of a tiny chambre d’hote in a lovely spot, Vouvray, is a beautiful place. The house is built in a cave, which is very unique. The host was friendly. The towels were very old and no longer suitable for guests. The cats and dog that really stayed in your surroundings are not pleasant for everyone. There were quite a few spider webs in the room. Breakfast was very sparse. The bed was decent.

Nice surroundings in a picturesque village, the room was well kept and had a great walk‑in bathroom. Not far from the Loire and a good restaurant "chez le Table du Jozef". If you’re not very mobile, the large stone staircase to the house entrance is a challenge and can only be accessed on foot.

The bed was comfortable and the décor was nice, but the electric suction in the bathroom was triggered by the lights at night, which was annoying.

The place was simple but okay; it wasn’t clean, the garden was very neglected, and there was no friendly welcome.
